Early Exit 2026 — On Structural Branching

Early Exit returns as part of the FMT Revision Series.

In form, it is a revision of an earlier work. In that sense, it is indeed a reconstruction, and that aspect is not denied. However, the 2026 version is not merely a remake.

Through the process of reconstruction, structural layers became visible that could not have emerged at the time of the original production. The introduction of AI was not intended as a stylistic shift, but functioned as a medium through which pre-existing internal layers were exposed.

This release does not signal a change in direction for FMT. Nor does it represent a departure from its ongoing trajectory.

Rather, it marks a structural branch within FMT.

FMT does not repeat the same structure. The act of revisiting past works inevitably produces new dimensions.
