2 New Tracks to be Released Soon

 FMT are to release two new tracks:

• Neither West, East, North Nor South
• Encounter & Progression

The notes on each of them (to be available soon) reads:

(On Neither West, East, North Nor South, TM writes:)

"The tentative title was “Scale Progression.” The notion of the scale progression does not exist at all, but is what I created. What I meant by this is what if the scale changes very frequently, eg, in every bar, in some scale music just like chord progression. You may hear something like somewhat strange chord progression in this track. It’s not chord progression but what the scale progresses. In fact, we do not use chords (except dyads) basically."

(On Encounter & Progression, TM writes:)

"As it [the title] implies, I intended to make music of somewhere in the middle, or music of nowhere. The history of my listening to music last summer shows a variety of musicians like Hindemith, Paco de Lucia, Aditya Prakash, Decoy, DJ Cam, Sandra & Joeroen van Veen & Tamara Rumiantsev, etc. "
